Jesus was around during a time of epidemic.

A long one, of which their was no cure. People who got it were ostracized and everyone avoided them.

Jesus went and ate with the lepers and even cures some in another instance, as I recall.

So no, it's unlikely Jesus would have shunned them. That's just not who he was.

That said, he likely would have held them in as much contempt as he did the religious leaders of the time and pointed out their hypocrisy.

Some would have been humbled and changed their ways. Most wouldn't. Jesus didn't seem to waste time on belligerents.
