I've had a first date at every one of those places except a few of the restaurants because they weren't in the city I lived in or anywhere remotely nearby and few others that I wouldn't have a problem with, it just didn't happen.

The ONLY definite nos for me are the gym and church. The gym because why on earth would you go to an enclosed space to lift dead weights when you can getter better exercise doing stuff that's actually fun outside? The gym is not a fun date. It's just not for me. Church because that's just disrespectful. Church is not a date venue. Also, I'm not a believer in Sky Daddy/the Great Panopticon Overseer expressions of faith.
