How come so many up and coming internet comedians use parody but then get mad at their audience for also making fun of that parody?

Did they just not know they're being comedians or sontbey just not understand their own material?

In other words, why do these men make a parody out of masculinity and then get fussed when they get laughed at for being ridiculous. It's the ridiculousness that makes parody work.
