I've been saying this. Being young and healthy won't give you a free pass from Covid. Think about the money.
Even outside life insurance policies. Think about the money.
What's going to happen if someone in your family gets Covid and is one of the 10 to 20% that gets sick enough to be hospitalized? Even outside a critical care unit. How's your life going to change if a family member becomes a long hauler?
It's not even solely about the risk of death or the financial (Insurance) risk. You've got to consider the survival risk too.
But no. People want to be stupid and act like fools. Because Donald Trump and his lackeys said it was no big deal.
But have you noticed his cognitive decline since he got it? He was already going senile and it was obvious. But check out his speech patterns and mobility since he got Covid. He hasn't bounced back. That's permanent.
Everybody I know who's caught Covid or has a family member who has is changed. Sometimes it's subtle or was something that was going to occur anyway (failing eyesight) but it's hastened. The fatigue isn't lifting and it's crushing.
Now hospitals are filling up again because people want to be stupid and act like fools because some internet charlatan says there's a tracker in the vaccine or that they're worthless because there's evidence they're not 100% effective.
Hope these people enjoy their new life.
