I've been having 'hypergamy" ideology thrown at me like dirt clods or maybe monkey excrement for a while now; many women have.

Men on the internet are having feelpinions about their insecurities again, which of course has to be blamed on women. It doesn't matter if it's logical, rational, or reasonable... or not.

Apparently, the Sanskrit anuloma, Webster, American Heritage, et al can just fuck the hell right on off too. The men are aggrieved, lonely, and can't figure out why they can't get a date; and so intellectual integrity is for pussies.

I think Jordan Peterson is the douchebag primarily responsible for promoting that particular vein of ridiculousness. Don't quote me on that though.

Musk is the douchebag primarily responsible for the barrage of "women are selfish because they won't have my babies" nonsense. He's pushing protonatalist bullshit.

Anyways, #3 and #4 were about the weirdness of attraction. You know when it happens but you don't always know why. It's complex. There doesn't even have to be a reason, sometimes it's just pheromones. I've had that happen--gotten a blast of someone's scent that triggered a sexual attraction but no way in hell would I ever want to act upon it. Sometimes attraction is about memory. You find yourself attracted to someone who reminds you of someone you loved or desired. Doesn't mean you'd want to pursue it ... it's an echo, not real and now.

Attraction is a feeling, it's often temporary and fleeting. It's not an action or a desire or even guaranteed to be what's good for you.

To place so much value in superficial evaluations of what one sex or the other is attracted to is just plain dumb. You'd just be winding yourself up over nothing. It's a big nothing burger.
