I've actually got this one bookmarked for a full on rebuttal like Rivvka Wolf got, and have been taking copious notes, but I got distracted by a few things.
1. Urchling. Sorry, not sorry. Urchling takes precedence over all of you. It's not like that article is going to have disaopeared when I get around to it.
2. You and Penguin will love this one because you both don't see me going after women like I do men. But that's an unfortunate dynamic of the platform, not hesitance on my part. You don't see it because I keep my presence on different platforms unlinked and separate. Anyway. Another woman wrote an article attacking feminism in a particular way. And since it too, involves motherhood, well...you can just imagine. She actually asked for a "constructive" formal rebuttal after I managed a very sarcastic comment. Bless her heart. It's gonna be pretty brutal. I let Urchling read it and it made her nostrils flare enough to concern the dog. Maybe it was the steam, hard to say. There were appeasements and attempts at some smothering mothering, beagle style.
3. I've been having to deal with another Desperado situation. I messed up maintaining barriers and am now suffering the consequences.
4. There's some other stuff.
It's true I don't bicker with writers like Ossiana as much as I do men because she'll either ignore it or block me. I don't want to be blocked because she's got some good content, and even on stuff I don't agree with, she often brings up points I wouldn't have otherwise thought of.
In the end, it takes two to argue. More of you men enjoy a good spar, fewer of the ladies do. So you gentlemen get argued with because you argue back.
