It's speculative to assume that's why he lost the Jack Sparrow character. He's actually heading back to court soon. He's being sued by a former cast member of s movie he was on because he showed up to work drunk and punched the guy in the abdomen several times and then offered a manager 100K to punch the guy in the face after he got pulled off him.

This happened around the same time frame so...

Logic says his own behavior got him fired, not Amber Heard's article.

It's been an open secret for years that he's a raging addict, shows up to work drunk and/ or high, is volatile and erratic, and causes problems on set.

It's misogyny to blame Amber Heard for him losing Jack Sparrow. He deserved to be fired many times over.

That said, he's clearly a fan favorite, he's talented, and he worms really well with the surreal so he has a niche. If he can get and stay sober, like Robert Downey Jr, or Drew Barrymore, or some of the others, there's no reason why he can't find work. Being fired from a character, a film, or even one film company is not the same as being fired by the entire industry. He's also got enough money to start his own production company. Drew Barrymore did.

Y'all need to get a grip.
