It’s not like growing food is rocket science either. People have been doing it for thousands of years.

Maybe that’s part of the problem. People assume it will be easy. They don’t get that it’s a learned skill. There’s more to it than poking a hole in the ground and dropping in a seed.

Maybe because farming is the base on which all civilizations are built, people look down on it as lowly. It is the base of the hierarchical pyramid, occupationally speaking, after all.

Whatever. They better get over it and start learning or they’re going to starve. It’s that simple. They better learn to eat different things too.
