It's not a power struggle. In general, women have no desire to subdue men. That's male histrionics.

It's a respect struggle.

Also, women are looking to free themselves from the burden of unnecessary performative femininity that has no function other than to make toxic masculinity tolerable to men, usually at the woman's detriment.

By that, I mean that all this alpha male bullshit has driven normal healthy masculinity to extremes. Women are bearing the violence of that.
