*I didn’t say men didn’t have problems or didn’t face disenfranchisement, discrimination, or oppression. I said that when they do, it’s not because they are male....it’s all those other adjectives that cause them grief. What kind of male they are.

You can be oppressed as a black man. But it’s race, your blackness, that is the cause of your oppression. Not your maleness.

Same for being gay, being disabled, being poor, etc. Those things carry bias.

Being male does not.
