Cats? Cats are so last season. Today's feminist is all about the beagle. You can take them anywhere, they match almost any outfit, they know how to snuggle, and they come with a built in warning klaxxon to frighten away intruders. I mean potential suitors of poor quality.

You can even get a model that belches and snores. All the highlights of living with a human male but with clean dishes and a closed toilet lid. Plus soft velvety ears and they're not stingy with affection.

In short, it's not work to love a beagle, it's easy and a joy.
