Of course I learn from the manosphere. It's good to study the tactics of one's enemy and see what sort of bullshit they're up to and have aimed at you.

I think I picked up 'my guy' from the queer community though. Another gay man, actually. LGBTQ get a lot of hate online, so it's unusual seeing a gay person dishing out some sexist and misogynistic material. They're usually much better aware and versed about it.

I'm not claiming it originated within the queer community, to be clear. Just that that's where I first heard it and picked it up. I've got no idea where and how it started.
