It's amazing. That "hate" you feel from women as a man for things you didn't do....you don't get it.

It's exactly the same as I'm describing that I feel from men. We are no different.

Dominance hierarchy requires men to "other" women as part of their identity as a man. Othering is a form of hate. It's setting yourself above by setting someone else apart and less than by opposing them in some way. Like assigning human traits and characteristics to their gender and horsinf the ones you value the most for your own. And then demonizing and villifying them for all eternity for a bullshit abstract that only exists in the mind.

Well guess what? That creates an environment for the reverse to hold true too. From the resentment of being demonized and villified for so long, for the violence that has been enacted upon your gender because of it. For coming to distrust and dislike those same embodied traits that have been used as a cudgel against you for millenia, because masculinity is violent, dangerous, and evil.

It's the same. It's no different.

It's not about the individual. It's about the division that assigns worth and expectations. We all feel it.
