It's a risk assessment. It's not just about abuse. It's about quality of life relationships provide.

If romantic relationships with men, on average, do not improve the quality of life for women, on average, then the choice is to either settle for the impairment or deterioration of their lives or to give up and seek to have those needs met through other types of relationships, or to hold to your standards and wait for what you want.

By the averages, there are far fewer men capable of or willing to the partners in life women want them to be but they all want extreme sex and control over the lives of women.

By the averages, there are far fewer women who want to be the fuckmaid of a low quality male in transactional dynamics but they all want emotional intimacy, connection, and romance in their long term relationships with men.

The point is, that for each side of the equation, there are not enough of what they want to go around. So you either wait it out, settle, or give up.

Those are the choices. For all of us.
