It was racist. No way it wasn't. It's got nothing to do with the race of the cops who killed Mr. Nichols.

It's the systemic targeting on an institutional level of Black people, particularly Black men.

You've got white men losing their shit left, right, and sideways...attacking people, committinf mass murders, signing up with domestic terror organizations, and even annihilating their own families.

The police routinely chat with them, first bump, fail to prevent violence from erupting when these guys are showing signs of being an ongoing or future threat, give them every grace in the world, deescalate no matter the resource cost, etc.

But a Black man will routinely be run down and shot dead like a dog on the highway.

A lot of white people inevitably bring up that, straight numbers, more white men are killed by cops than Black men and that's true. But, even outside balancing the numbers by looking at per Capita, how many of those white men were looking to commit suicide by cop vs Back men who were looking to get home to their families?

Any way you look at it, you will smack into the racism of the policing institution soon enough. You can't not.
