The term was coined by a woman and thr original site was established by a woman.

It WAS for everyone.

And then the misogynists came and did what they ALWAYS do.

That should tell you everything you need to know to make better, wiser decisions as a man.

In order to even stand a chance in finding a partner, you have to be able to stand in the presence of women without driving them off. Women will leave and then avoid the company of men if they feel unsafe. Irrational, illogical, virulence hatred makes people feel unsafe.

So the women left the men with their hatred and that dynamic is spreading across the dating landscape. Not surprisingly.
