It is foreign to many who live in the US. It's also relatable to many women who live in the US, though mostly women married to conservative fundies or addicts. There's some AAPI communities here in the US where this is still fairly common.

America is a big place. Lot of different folks from a lot of different places and a lot of different cultures.

There's a whole lot more here than what you personally know. You should have learned that in school. As a youth mentor, you have a responsibility to know that and teach those boys to not be stuck up or stuck on themselves.

If you're thinking about telling me how you did know that, then I'll point out that the purpose of your comment must therefore be to minimize other experiences or just gaslight another feminist because you don't like how her story makes you feel about your manhood.

That's a YOU problem, Benny. Why don't you go read some of Jesus' parables and see if you can't sort yourself out. Try the mustard seed one. For clarity, you would be either the dry ground or an empty water can in this context.

If you have trouble, there's probably a nice Mormon who can help you out as they actuay try to follow the teachings of Jesus.
