Ironically, the best way to ensure your children share your values is to respext their personhood, encourage them to think critically, play debate games, and earnestly (not sarcastically) congratulate them on disagreeing with you but ensure they can back up their disagreement.

In other words, not being a left or right leaning authoritarian douchebag is what gets you there, but being liberally minded with your kids will.
