Interesting thoughts here but I think you're wrong about the biology argument for the most part.

It's both. It has to be. One or the other, biology or socialization, doesn't explain all the exceptions those beliefs have to ignore.

I do think the biology part is more fluid than most adherents to that philosophy would accept. Again, it has to be. It's the only thing that makes sense without causing more problems.
