In the schema binary, these are the traits labeled feminine, not masculine. Truly though, all the traits are human traits. We all have all of them. It was just an abstract concept millenia ago to think about how certain traits might go together, or compliment each other, or balance each other out.
It was never supposed to be 'these belong to men and if you don't do them you're not a real man' and 'these belong to women and if you don't do them, we'll hurt you till you do'.
My point here is that in the article, he's saying positive male traits are aggression, violence, assertiveness, hard work, and dominance and that as a man you can't get what you want in life (money and pussy) as a man without these things because this is self discipline and leadership.
Which, of course, is ludicrous. It's a con. Anyone who thinks this needs to start with a dictionary and look up the words discipline and leadership and educate themselves from there, avoiding the nonsense yammerings of grifters looking to lighten their wallets.
But to answer your question of which traits are positive masculine traits (which exist in all of us) I'd say masculine energy: establishes boundaries to hold space for others, logic and objectivity, curiosity and adventure, confidence, and orients toward action.
You'll notice that nowhere in there is force or violence applied against others to supercede your ego and selfish desires over their well being. That's a good way to know when you've gone too far with assertiveness and aggression, etc.
I cannot stress how much I LOATHE the masculine/feminine or yin/yang model. I think they cause a lot of unnecessary confusion and drama, mostly because people don't understand them right. It's clearly hurting both sexes. But, I also recognize that it's not going anywhere. People are too invested in it, warped and limiting though it is.
