In and of itself, it didn’t. Capitalism isn’t any more inherently evil than any other system of government. It’s simply a choice as to how things will be organized and run on an economic level.

The system has been allowed to be corrupted. The same thing could and has happened to every other form of government. At this point, changing systems will not solve the corruption problem. Things will change somewhat, but the system is still corrupted.

Fix the corruption, and you fix the problems. In any system of government.
