I'm recognizing the distinct possibility. No, I don't "know". Men do not disclose anywhere near as often as women do.

Again, it's not about excusing or validating abusive behavior or the hated. It's about choosing to address the trauma first. Perhaps a better term would be choosing to handle with more care.

It's not a fix all. It can't be. But we've got to stop failing children and get better at protecting them from sexual assault. Part of that is recognizing the signs, where it comes from, and not gaslighting the survivors.
