I'm pretty sure I had this, but I didn't get diagnosed. Sounds just like what I had. I lost 25 lbs in a month. But, I didn't know I was pregnant as I didn't stop menstruating until my 4th month of pregnancy. So, I was pretty convinced I had a brain tumor or something.
Couldn't move, was stiff as all get out, slightest thing would set off waves of wretching. And I couldn't stop. I'd throw up until I was throwing up bile. Couldn't eat. Couldn't drink, even fresh water was foul. No energy. No strength. I could barely drag myself out of bed. And God, the headaches. Light was blinding.
It was well and truly awful. Yours sounds worse though because it lasted longer.
Mine started to ease up about the time I figured out I was pregnant. Actually, I didn't. Somebody told me.i was "acting pregnant" whatever that means so I took a home test to disprove the notion. HA!
Anyways, by the time I find and get a doctor, it's mostly passed. I will never forget the taste of Wonton soup my dad brought me. First thing I could eat and keep down in nearly two months. I lived off Wonton soup for 3 weeks nearly, till I could tolerate the smell of anything else. Lost another 10 pounds and got yelled at for being under weight by the doctor who assumed that I was having hysterics and starving myself about losing my figure. Dude was an ass.
So I yelled.back at home and he shoved some nausea pills in my face and the smell of the coating triggered the nausea and I threw up on him. As I said it was violent, projectile vomiting for hours and hours.
On the plus side, he never made any dumb ass comments about my figure again. I also couldn't take any maternity vitamins. The nurse told me later I should have been sent to the hospital for dehydration.
Glad you made it through and had a healthy baby. Totally get why you would not want to go through that again.
