I'm not sure I get your point here, Buffy. Unlike many women, she has a choice, and she's making it but she's unhappy with it. Because...she seems to think staying at home with her son and future children is anti-feminist??

It's not.

She is highlighting a huge problem with choice though. Far too many women aren't handling it right. It's an after thought after the baby has arrived.

That doesn't work.

Either choice you make is going to require some prep before hand. If the father is in the picture, some negotiation.

It's not like anything that happens with rearing children is any great surprise at this point. So why are so many women so flippant about it until they're backed into a corner? It's weird.
