I'm not provoked. Just heading you off at the pass because anytime a comment is speaking in generalities, you're right there to remind us all that men get abused too.

I also know that if I had said, " women may take a professional hit for holding the line but it may be worth it if it ends the assaults against us"....you would have thrown your penalty flag, even though the 'us' in that statement refers to serial abuse survivors regardless of their gender and not just women. 'Women' in that statement refers to who will take the bulk of the push back from abusive and authoritarian types.
