If you want to be desired, you have to be desireable. Cletus the slack jawed yokel is not desireable. Grod the cave man is not desireable. A barely contained beast is not desireable. A master is not desireable. A putz who is constantly in your face trying to dominate you is not desireable. Peter Pan is not desireable. A constantly aggrieve and whining hot mess is not desireable. A guy who won't get off the fence is not desireable. A guy who will not advocate for himself will never advocate for you. A guy who is incapable of being companionable is not desireable.

If you want to be wanted then you have to be something that women would want. Something that will improve their lives, not drag them down, make them feel like they're in the relationship alone, and make them miserable.

Partnered alone is the worst kind of alone there is.

As a single who always hears about lonliness and heartache from partnered friends and coworkers, being partnered is no guarantee that your lonliness will improve.

It's not enough to get a partner. You have to be one worth having too. Men do not seem to think about this anywhere near enough.
