If you harassed or verbally abused a Netflix customer service employee, they are not required to accept your harassment or abuse. Those things get reported. You can be dropped as a customer. A restraining order can be filed against you.

Big businesses have procedures and financial resources in place to respond to this kind of behavior from people. They also have the requirement under OSHA to provide a safe working environment.

Solopreneurs and smaller businesses generally do not. That doesn't mean that during the course of work they're required to tolerate harassing and abusive behavior from people because of some misguided notion of hearing all opinions.

The article was about entitlement. Not good faith dissent. They're not the same thing.
