IF that's what he wants.

There are a couple of problems here.

1. The disrespect shown to elders says more about the rest of us than theie potential dementia.
2. There is no age limit maximum to hold office. Therefore, preventing him from running is a violation of his civil rights. Full stop.
3. There's something troubling about how easy suggesring voters abdicate their responsibility to evaluate the fitness of candidates to a group of behind the curtains "wizards" just to get someonenout of the way. Hiding behind "compassionate" lamguage doesn't make it any less bigoted. It's still ageist.

That's not to say he should be forced to run if he doesn't want to either. Using someone like that is unethical regardless of the reasons why.

None of us are qualified to be making assumptions about his mental state, especially so flippantly.

I appreciate your thoughts, but I'd the choice comes down to Biden or Trump again, I'm still going Biden.
