I don’t understand why so many people are always so passive when this shit happens.

I understand being shell shocked and not knowing how to respond. You’re just agape. That happens to us all. Most of the time it’s randos we’re never going to see again so you let it go.

But at a place of business? Hell no. Maybe the passive part comes from the familial pressure to not make a scene? I would have considered it a personal insult to me as well to be out on a celebratory dinner and have my family or friends be disrespected like that. So I don’t understand the brother either. Seems kinda lame, especially when people more informed about the incident are saying his own mother also didn’t get served. She had to have been either his mother or his fiance’s mother. Hope his fiance reconsiders because he’s weak. That was his leadership role to make or break and he failed. Big time.

Restaurants have managers and owners people. Get the bastard fired. Far as that goes, if I was the manager there that would have been immediate termination of everyone involved in that. What happened to the steak? An order gets placed, the kitchen cooks it, and the waiter delivers it, right? So there’s a real chance the kitchen crew was in on this as well. What happened to those steaks?
