I agree with you in your essay and you're basically remarking upon the shift I was talking about in that thread that Jaxson is still clearly pressed about. But, the two of you are younger than me by at least a decade so I doubt you see it as a shift, even while knowing about and appreciating some of the historical context.

Men have changed significantly from what they were. Women have too, but for us, it's largely for the better about most things. Men? Not so much.
