I won't repeat my previous comment in it's entirety here but I'll summarize.
You're basically saying te same thing I am in the most important way so I'm not sure why your feelings are so hurt.
I never said we don't all participate in society. I also never said that it's all the fault of men.
What I'm saying is that women cannot unpack how individual men are still participating in it for them anymore than men could do that for women.
We're doing the work. Is it 100%? No. Is it across the board (all women)? No. Is it absolute (covers everything)? No.
But we're doing the work. It took us 10K years to get here. There's not going to be a 5 years plan to undo it.
We women haven't unpacked it all yet either. You can't, until you see it. We're still in process.
You men need to show some good faith and catch up. You need to do the work of unpacking too and not try to put it on women to fix for you like the author suggests.
