These are the reasons the OP thinks he wouldn't date the guy, if he we were a woman.

But, if he were a woman, he wouldn't be so hung up on looks. It would be a part of the package, but not a majority part and not a deal breaker.

Notice there was nothing said in there about how he treats and interacts with female colleagues, like when men don't look at women in the eye when they talk to them but state at them otherwise, it make women feel uncomfortable. Women ignore/don't notice men who do not make space for them.
