I was about to say being an adaptopian isn't a bad thing.

But. I glossed over the utopian part of that portmandeau, I guess. I'm a fan of adaptability I do think it's time, padt time really, for us to toughen up.

But I don't think that because I think it will magically turn the tide, leading to a Utopia with unicorns and rainbows.

It'll just make the ending easier to endure. If you focus on other species rather than humanity, it might give more of them a fighting chance. Probably not, but it's a better way to spend your time than trying to hold on to a consumerist lifestyle, in my opinion.
