I think you're wrong here because you got your feeligs hurt, or not completely right.

Handing over sole financial power to one partner is a thorn in feminism, no doubt about it. So criticizing that, especially the way you described it here, is less about demeaning "traditional" lifestyle choices and more about making that ceaseless clarion warning call of how not having financial responsibility for oneself is being on treacherous, uneven, slippery footing on a downslope.

Maybe in the other content you provided more nuance and exposition and maybe you didn't. Either way, yowza! Whatever feminist point you trying to make.... I don't think you could have chosen a worse example if you tried.

Doomed to fail.

Which means less of an example of feminists tearing down other women or whatever and more of an example of not editing well as a writer and not considering your audience.
