I think the point she's trying to make is how can you be believed to be fair minded and not hate women when the language you use to describe them is inherently dehumanizing.
Not once did you refer to men as "males".
But women are "females".
Other. Not on the same level. Not quite human, at least not fully, not like a man. A little less than. Set apart. Needing to be scrutinized because they're just too different.
