I think that’s a difference between living in the states and living in other countries like the UK.

I’d agree with you except that legal overhauls and political campaigns don’t work here. The justice system and Congress are patsies to corporations and other monied interests. They’re so out of touch with the realities of how we little guys live our lives it’s beyond ridiculous. Nobody trusts any of them to do what’s right over their own selfish interests or speak/care about any of us anymore. Nobody.

So, no progress. No updated and sensible legal codes. No justice.

All that’s left is vengeance. Thing about vengeance is it’s never sated and it lands where it lands.

Theyre losing the consent of the governed. That usually happens with a massive bloodletting. Those drums have been beating do while now.

And all any of us hear from the decision makers is self important pontification and crickets. Oh, and thoughts and prayers.
