I think once my young one has launched well and the end is near whether vis climate change, collapse, or natural aging, I like to go out pirate farming and habitat building up and down the Appalachian trail. But, pirate farming and habitat building for wildlife rather than people. I'd like to spend my last days giving them a chance at survival too.

We could stop or mitigate climate change but we aren't. Personally I believe we've already crossed the threshold line of it being too late. Why waste effort protecting the foolish who will not act to protect themselves?
