I think it's fairly typical. We women tend to view our feminist corner of the internet as "our space", where on the whole, men being bros or just arguing to argue aren't wantes or welcome.

You can say, "but it's a public space" and that's true.

But we don't all get private ones. We're to busy or limited taking care of everyone else. When free time has to be sacrificed, it's us that typically makes the sacrifice.

And let's be real. Even if we had a private or semi-private gathering, men will intrude. With their peacocking. Always the peacocking.
