I think it's clear that that's not going to happen either. Men love their violence too much. Clearly more than they love their own daughters.

I don't agree that it's on women to close the gap though. I'd rather see us take the opposite action. Increase thagap and leave them too it.

If men are insistent on maintaining violence as the primary expression of their manhood, someone is going to have to absorb that violence. If women get out of their way and abandon living with, loving, or ever trusting them they'll only have each other to be violent towards.

Maybe when they're the ones on the receiving end of all that violence too, they'll get over themselves and come back to reason and sense.
