I think it'll be both, like a "staircase" where some of the steps are way too tall and some go on for some time easy and gradually.

Or like a series of waves where most are minor. They tire you out and they drag at you but you can stand. Them a big one or a series or big ones comes and claims you.

I think k it'll be like that. The power will go out (already has in some places like TX during that snowstorm, and now because of the heatwave) and it will be out long enough to claim lives. But it will come back on. This will happen again and again and again until there's no money, no skilled workers, or no material available to get the power back on.

Same thing with food. Same thing with water. Same with healthcare.

We'll be slowly culled over time by a series of disasters and infrastructure failures.

A lot of people are living dependent lives on medications. I think that and starvation will be the largest and hardest culls. There'll have to be mass graves.
