I think I don't have the right to dictate someone else's ethics to them, there no law against it, it's only possible if men do not bother to guard against their own reproductive potential thus exposing themselves to this possible outcome to sexual activity in the first place (because I'm obviously not talking about reproductive rape which is against the law), and the phone works both ways. Why is it her job to notify you of a pregnancy after a one night stand and not your job to call and ask if there was one?
Interesting that you automatically assign the ethical failure to her when men, by and large, pursue sex outside relationships and one night stands with reckless abandon, never taking reasonable precautions or sparing a single thought about consequences after the fact. When women complain about being used, it's always, "she's an adult. She knew what she was doing."
So are you gentlemen and so did you. If you happen to get used, you're an adult and you knew what you were doing.
Women are not required to be ethical on your behalf because you're too lazy to do so yourself.
Maybe if ethics were so damned important to men, using women like toilet seats for sexual urges or a public buffet wouldn't get the applause amongst the ranks of men that it usually does. I know I know, "#NotAllMen."
I think ultimately, there are folks of high caliber and folks of low caliber and that's not attached to wealth, it's attached to whether or not we think about the impact of our actions properly and whether or not we pursue selfish delights at the expense of others.
We all think we're good decent people but few examine themselves through someone else's eyes. They lack the courage to. Also, most of us are untried. It's easy to say you would never do something when it's never going to be a viable option.
