I saw something on TikTok about this the other day, only it wasn't about ChatGPT, it was just being exposed to linguistic idiosyncrasies and the tendency to be tribal about it.

Some young lady had seen on the internet the word 'whenever' being used as a casual modifier and was asking "why are some people using 'whenever' wrong, like "Whenever I was in 5th grade....."; it was a polite request for an explanation but was also clear she felt this was an inexcusable slaughtering of the language. Lol.
