I respect your input as well and think much the same. There is no one magic fix. But there are solutions. Lots and lots of small, large, and in between impactful things that will end it.

It's the work of generations.

The thing about humans is that since we developed consciousness we also developed the means to direct our own development and evolution. Unlike the other creatures we share this planet with, we choose a lot of how we live our lives.

We choose to live hierarchically. We choose to value one human being more than another. We choose to "other" and exclude or include.

So when enough of us choose against the conditions that cause racism, racism will end. The die-hard adherents will find themselves to be the ones excluded. Thy will fade into obscurity.

I get that long view is broad strokes. Nor am I saying a simplified view means it will be easy or a quick and easy fix. It won't be.

But it's possible. It's doable. It's worth the fight, even if you and I never see the end of it. Our descendents will. We cannot tolerate the despair that leads to apathy.
