I read these. A friend of mine gave them to me and told me I would enjoy them as I regularly rip on Romance novels.

She was right. I did enjoy them. Still do. They're so ridiculous they're funny to me. I call them 50 Shades of What The Holy Fucking Shit Fuck!?!?!??

It is a shame that this series kind of took Twilight down with it as Twilight wasn't being criticized as being abusive or condoning abuse until 50 Shades came out.

Twilight does have a problem but to me it's one of spiritual abuse and all Meyer's novels have that same problem.

I still like the Twilight series as well. Another friend gave me that one. Really, there's no way I wasn't going to like it because Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights were my favorite Romance novels from that era, but I'm an avid Sci-Fi and fantasy fan. Once vampires and werewolves were thrown in that mix, it was a done deal. I was gonna love it.

The movies going with the disco glitter ball vampires was hard to swallow though. Damn. My eyeballs hurt just thinking about it. Good soundtracks though.
