I mostly agree.

I'm not sure that feminism is as rudderless as many seem to think though. It also can't be one solid movement because conditions are different around the world.

It seems to me, that here in North America the unspoken focus is on erasing gender based shame for both men and women and on ending the cycle of constantly telling women how they're doing womanhood wrong.

When you think about it, both those things come at you in a lot of different ways so, of course the response to it seems spastic and disjointed. Yet, when you get down to it....that's what it is. Social and cultural change toward more acceptance and less shame.
