I make this argument too, about the double standards. I have heard the same and much more. Low body count, no children, has to provide for his children, no makeup, certain styles of dress (this is usually won't date a woman who wears pants), weight, non sporty, only sporty, petite, leggy, breast size, thigh gap, it just never fucking ends.

For them, a man has a right to preferences. Preferences can't be helped. Completely out of their hands. You like what you like.

But by God, the minute a woman starts having some preferences too her standards are just too damn high.

As though they're being forced into dating women asking for "unreasonable" standards. As though they have no agency to just walk away. Say "thanks but no thanks" and move on.

You're right too in that too many men do not listen. Women are getting super tired of the constant fucking mantrums when dating.

This whole article was just another one. Another attempt at "You'll die alone with 100 cats eating your face!" threat.

Wish they would stop threatening us with a good time. It's easy to see why these guys can't find someone. It must be hard to move about with that big ass chip on their shoulders.
