I love vetch. Lots of different species of vetch back home. Twenty something different species.

Haven't seen any vetch here in the desert but I have seen some Venus's looking glass.

And there's this other little flower that blooms this time of year. Waxy to the point of looking like cheap plastic petals in plastic toy yellow and plastic toy orange. I don't know what they are, but they carpet a lot of rock yards.

I'm looking forward to the saguaro blooming. Some of the prickly pears are starting to bloom. Urchling (moniker referencing my daughter here on Medium) saw some last weekend when we went on a ramble with the Joopster (Jupiter Jones, the beagle).
