As far as being the one who hands out the divorce papers goes... I don't know.

It doesn't necessarily mean they're the one who asked for the divorce, only that they were the one who filed. There's also something quite irksome about having to clean up the mess of a marriage that the shit piece of slime wrecked. Maybe there's also something to having to clean up their own mess for fucking once.
