I live in stupid America too. Also low stats on most every metric.

I'm with you and Dr Fauci on the divide up to a point. Problem is, smart people still have to share the same health care system with Stupid America. So we still have to care.

It won't matter how stringently we protected ourselves and our families from Covid. If this Delta variant starts hitting as hard and fast as the 1st two waves of the original strain and they still refuse to vaccinate or moderate behavior, health care could be in peril.

Somebody who did everything in the world right about Covid could still die of any other thing, great or small, if there's no healthcare to take care of them. They won't be dying of Covid but they will be suffering and dying because of it.

Otherwise, I'd say let nature take care of stupid people. The rest of us will be better off without the dead weight of Stupid America.
