I hear that, I worry about my daughter too. She's 17.

Then, slay the martyr dragons trying to poison your son's mind and heart. I do my daughter's.

Because you and the author are opposite sides of thr same coin in a lot of ways. Women aren't gold diggers. Some women choose to play the dominance hierarchy game to their advantage. Some men are sickened by the advantages they are given. They don't like that it hurts people. They have sympathy.

From my perspective, it's the game. I don't like everyone's options to be to sit on the sidelines and lose because nobody wins who doesn't play or to play and maybe win or lose. Most likely lose. For one to win another MUST lose. It's zero sum. In the end, so few are lifted.

I want to play a different game. An adventure game with all sorts of people and all sorts of paths. The goal is to play and help other people play. Getting to the end is success. Not "winning" while everyone else loses.
